Glasses and jewelry. World-class craftsman competition
In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of its birth, line art collaborated in search of even more "beautiful comfort" with the jewelry brand HIROUMI. Takaharu Hiromi, the third generation of Atelier Hiromi, who has been producing high jewelery since its establishment in 1930, is the first Japanese gold medalist to win the 1999 WorldSkills Competition in Montreal.
"The offer to make glasses with jewelry settings was a new challenge for our atelier. We usually use platinum and gold as materials, but titanium, which has different hardness, stickiness and brilliance. The material was a bit tough, but very attractive. The craftsmen who started using platinum as a jewelery material in the early 19th century might have felt this way: hard, yet small. I think titanium, which can also be processed into nails, is a material that can firmly hold jewelry such as diamonds. " In producing the anniversary model with jewelry settings, opinions were exchanged and prototypes were repeated on a daily basis in Sabae, the home of line art, and Osaka, where HIROUMI's atelier is located. "Everyone at Charmant's technical staff is very careful and their work is polite. Even though they are from different genres, we were able to sympathize with each other with an attitude of working on manufacturing."
Hiromi Takaharu
He was the first Japanese to win a gold medal at the WorldSkills Competition. Jeweler continues to make jewelery with all his heart, using the techniques cultivated in tradition and the sensibility cultivated in haute couture jewelry production.
Titanium parts carved from the lump by 5-axis machining are hand-polished by a craftsman with the best technique in Charmant for a week, and Mr. Hiromi carefully polishes each stone so that the jewels shine to the maximum. I will keep it. By accumulating the attention of such fine craftsmen, a gorgeous showpiece and jewelry model have been completed. In addition to the collaboration with HIROUMI, 3 types of celebration models to commemorate the 10th anniversary have also appeared. It is a special piece that shines even the expression of the person who put it on, and has blossomed for the future.

10th Celebration Showpiece
A special piece created in collaboration with HIROUMI to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Line Art Charmant. A total of 140 stones and 5 carats of diamonds are pavé-set on the upper left and right sides of the frame. Only HIROUMI, which boasts one of Japan's leading technologies, can fasten diamonds with stones without feeling the presence of claws that fasten diamonds. Even the side part of the frame has been finely set. In addition, a total of 5 carats of diamonds are used, but the gentleness and lightness of comfort are exactly the quality of Line Art Charmant.
