In our 20 years of head shape research, with the cooperation of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), we have measured the heads of people in Japan and other parts of the world and compiled data to enable us to design more appropriate sizes. Laser micro joining that maximizes the characteristics of materials.
In our pursuit of the ideal eyeglass frame, we conducted five years of research with the Joining and Welding Chemistry Laboratory of Osaka University and developed "laser micro-joining" technology that can join lines as thin as the lead of a mechanical pencil. This technology, which can join metal materials while taking advantage of their flexibility, springiness, and other characteristics, also increases strength, enabling frame designs that are more beautiful and delicate than ever before.
